Each contestant will participate in five exciting categories designed to showcase confidence, personality, and poise on and off the stage!
Talent
Show off your skills and creativity! Whether you sing, dance, act, or play an instrument, this is your time to shine.
(All talent performances will take place before pageant day.)

Opening Number
The pageant kicks off with a fun group dance choreographed and taught by our professional instructor. It’s a great way to show teamwork, energy, and stage presence!
Fun Fashion
Bring your personality to life with our Dream Job theme! Walk the stage dressed as your future self. Whether it’s a doctor, designer, dancer, or CEO. Let’s have a little fun and show the judges your unique style and confidence!
During this segment, each contestant will also give a short introduction. This is your moment to smile, speak with confidence, and let your personality shine before the judges and audience.

Formal Wear
Grace the stage in a floor-length formal gown that reflects confidence, class, and elegance. Judges will be looking for poise, presence, and personality — not just the dress!
20% of Score
On Stage Question
During the formal wear segment, each contestant will answer a random on-stage question. This is your chance to express yourself, think on your feet, and show the world your confidence and voice.
30% of Score
Particpation
Participation counts for 10% of each contestant’s score and reflects dedication, teamwork, and commitment to the full pageant experience. Attending all scheduled events, rehearsals, and workshops is highly encouraged, not just for scoring purposes, but to ensure every contestant gains the complete KL Teen Pageants experience.
Being present allows each queen to grow, bond with others, and make the most of this empowering journey both on and off the stage.
Formal Wear Expectations
Formal wear is one of the most elegant parts of the competition and a reflection of both you and the KL Teen Pageants system as a whole. The way you carry yourself with confidence, grace, and class, speaks volumes long before you even reach the microphone. When selecting your gown, remember to choose something that not only flatters your age and personality but also represents the poise and professionalism of a true queen.

This category celebrates elegance, confidence, and the beauty of authenticity — not just the gown itself.
Optional Categories
Optional categories are a fun way for contestants to go beyond the main competition and showcase even more of their personality, creativity, and talent. While they don’t affect the overall pageant score, they give each contestant the opportunity to shine in her own unique way and a chance to win the category. These categories are meant to encourage self-expression, build confidence, and celebrate individuality because every queen deserves her moment in the spotlight. They are not required but highly recommeded.
Miss. Photogenetic
Submit your best professional or high-quality photo! Judges will look for natural beauty, confidence, and a personality that shines through the image. You can enter this category as much as you'd like with different photo's

Community Service Leader
Submit a short summary or portfolio of your community involvement. This title honors girls who go above and beyond to give back, showing compassion, leadership, and a heart for service.

Miss. Essay
Write a 500-word essay on a topic of your choice, showcasing your voice, creativity, and point of view. Judges value passion, honesty, and clarity in every word.

Best Talent
Awarded to the contestant who delivers the most captivating and skillful performance during the talent Showcase. This category celebrates dedication, stage presence, and pure talent.
Top Seller Queen
Recognizes the contestant who goes above and beyond in ticket and ad sales. This award celebrates hard work, determination, and dedication to supporting the pageant and her fellow contestants.
This optional winner will receive a luxury gift basket filled with goodies and jaw dropping prizes!
Miss. Out The Box
Awarded to the contestant who stepped out of her comfort zone, embraced her individuality, and grew in confidence throughout her KLTP journey. This title celebrates courage, self-discovery, and authenticity.
Peoples Choice
The contestant with the most online votes ($1 per vote) will be crowned the People’s Choice Queen, receiving her own crown and custom sash as "Queen of impact" and a luxury gift basket filled with goodies! This category celebrates community love, charm, and connection.
Really That Girl
Chosen by fellow contestants, this award honors the girl who embodies kindness, sisterhood, and positivity. She’s the one who lifts others up, spreads joy, and truly represents Queens supporting Queens. This is KLTP version of Miss. Congeniality with a spin on it
Academic Achievement Award
Honors contestants who excel in academics and leadership both in and out of school. To be considered, submit your current grades, two teacher recommendation letters, and any school awards or recognitions you’ve received.

Joining KL Teen Pageants is more than just an entry — it’s an investment in confidence, growth, and unforgettable memories. While we try our best to keep this program affordable - the fee's helps create the full pageant experience, from workshops to outings. All while reminding every girl that she’s worth the investment. At KL Teen Pageants we strive to be affordable, giving every young lady a chance to hit the stage. There are many ways to cover these fees. From sponsorships to family and friends or even fundraising. When you have a goal that needs to be achieved, you'll work hard to achieve it. This pageant doesn't only teach you confidence, it teaches you how to hustle and step out your comfort zone by asking/ earning the money to compete.

A $22 registration fee is required to secure your spot in the pageant and it is nonrefundable.

Ticket's & Ad's
$300
Each contestant must sell 20 tickets ($10 each) and secure $100 in ads, totaling $300. All ads will be featured in the official program book, available for purchase on pageant day. These sales help fund the event and give contestants real-world experience in outreach, confidence, and community connection.
The contestant who goes above and beyond and sell the most tickets/ad's will be selected as our top seller queen! We want to acknowledge your hard work and dedication!

Winners Circle
The winners circle celebrates our crowned queens. Their hard work will be rewarded. Not only did they gain extra tool's to use later down the line in life but they also will each be crowned live on stage by current/pass state and national title holders from all over. One queen to another.
